Welcome. Ecosse Films is an award winning company, specializing in high-quality drama for both film and television.
In it’s early years Ecosse produced the hugely successful Mrs Brown, starring Judi Dench and Billy Connolly and numerous TV series including BBC1’s acclaimed long-running drama Monarch of the Glen.

In recent years Ecosse has achieved international success with several films; Becoming Jane starring Anne Hathaway and James McAvoy, Brideshead Revisited, and The Water Horse.

Recent television productions include the hit series Mistresses which will be returning to BBC1 for a third series next year, and Raw, commissioned by RTE, is currently on series two.

Ecosse currently has three films in post-production. The hotly anticipated Nowhere Boy, the teenage biopic of John Lennon directed by Sam Taylor-Wood starring Kristin Scott Thomas, Anne Marie Duff and Aaron Johnson, which will be closing the London Film festival later this year. Also in post-production; the medieval chiller Black Death starring Sean Bean, and a modern love story, Pelican Blood with Harry Treadaway playing an obsessive bird-spotter.
