Synopsis
Archie Macdonald (Alastair Mackenzie) is 28 and about to open his trendy new fish restaurant in London with his girlfriend, Justine when one phone call threatens to change his life forever. Archie finds himself the new owner of his family's financially crippled estate. As he vies with the family's bank manager not to sell his family home by coming up with potential money-making schemes he has the local schoolteacher, the feisty Katrina (Lorraine Pilkington) to contend with. Notwithstanding his aged eccentric parents, the fiery housekeeper Lexie (Dawn Steele) and his now disgruntled London-based girlfriend, Archie is set for a demanding yet amusing adventure.
