Synopsis
Archie decides to stay in Scotland and face the enormous challenge of turning round the financial fortunes of the ailing estate. Helped by his ever faithful staff, Archie hits upon various schemes to modernise Glenbogle, such as introducing a wildlife ranger called Fergal ( Jason O'Mara ) running outbound courses for businessmen, establishing a Glenbogle website and opening a visitor centre. As well as his professional problems, Archie has to contend with his often unsupportive father and his numerous headaches brought on by his complicated love life. As he zeroes in on Katrina, however, it is not the end of his difficulties. Archie finds himself vying for her affection along with Fergal and a fascinating and ever-shifting triangle develops.
